We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will perform data engineering, data security, metadata management across on-premises and Cloud, define, design, and implement big data analytics for multiple analytical and operational workloads and develop a deep understanding of data sources, granularity, availability, and limitations.
Job Description
Build maintainable, scalable data processing pipelines in PostgreSQL, Python, and other data processing language in the data platform running in AWS.
Operate and optimize the existing data pipelines that meet the data delivery and data quality service level agreement.
Develop ETL/ELT pipeline processes to manage and automate end to end (Using Python).
Develop data processing technical strategy and be accountable for the execution roadmap.
Deliver reporting and analytical support to stakeholders.
Review & monitor day-to-day data-pipelines operation processes and identify the area of improvement.
Develop BI reporting models as per organization needs (Using Power BI).
Use standard tools for data governance, project management, and user request management.
Build data platform using Scala, Apache Spark, Python, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform.
Our Desired Profile
B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Have extensive knowledge of dynamic routing protocols, data center switching infrastructure, network design, network architecture, protocols, and network topology.
Have extensive experience in designing, ordering, installing, and maintaining public cloud connectivity, Python and BI Visualization.
Extensive experience with object-oriented design and coding and testing patterns, including experience with engineering software platforms and data infrastructures.
Expert in writing Advanced SQL and, performance tuning of SQL.
Strong knowledge about data structure, data algorithm, data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques.
Solid experience in designing and building dimensional data models to improve data quality, accessibility, and usability.
